The Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab, the capstone course for journalism majors at Temple University, covers neighborhoods in Philadelphia--those sometimes under-reported and under-served by the mainstream media.
The students report in a variety of media-- all of which end up online at www.temple.edu/murl.
This blog is an addition to the completed stories. Simply put, it is an ongoing dialogue about the communities MURL tries to serve and the people who live in the communities.
