It is a shame that I will not be around here to white balance my camera again as I set up to record a summer block party or adjust a LAV on a lapel for that perfect interview. What I do know is that I was able to get a small piece of this city’s culture right here in the “bottom”, of all places, just by stopping on a corner and lending an ear to another smiling curious face.
