Empty Houses

As you walk and travel through the neighborhood of Kensington, you can't help but notice all of the abandoned houses. In fact, these empty houses make up 25% of all total properties. There is a steady dreary and empty feeling everytime you stroll past one of these homes.

There is a huge trash problem, as I continually saw broken glass from empty 40 oz bottles. Old, wet and worn out clothing is just dumped out into the street. The color of the clothing has completely transformed from its original state, as the sun rays continually pound the garments each and every day.

Kensington is continually filled with negativity, as the neighborhood has severe issues with drugs, violence and crime.
