One can't help but notice the state of the buildings in Hunting Park. In fact, everywhere you turn there are buildings practically screaming to be improved. With so much potential, the changing and updating of these buildings is just what Hunting Park needs in order to help turn itself into a more flourishing part of the city.
For years these building have been accumulating graffiti, defacing, have weathered destruction from the environment as well as the individuals who take it upon themselves to aid in the wreckage of building that have so much intrinsic. These buildings, aside from the home that need re-building, are the keys to the success of this city. Not just in Hunting Park, but all over the city of Philadelphia, there are large, historic buildings which hold so much capability. If these buildings were to be fixed up, there is no doubt that tourism would have a stronger change of making a comeback, and the city could finally see economic changes that are much needed.
The key is within these buildings, which hold congenital qualities, to our city's future. If continued to be run down, it will eventually be too late to turn these buildings into something special.
