Hard Times in Strawberry Mansion

The last couple of years the economy has been in turmoil. It has been declining and many have faced hard time because of that. While, it seems that the economy has been picking up in the past few months, the people who were effected by the economy are struggling and trying to get back on their feet.
Strawberry Mansion resident Linda Seels is on of those who has lost a business in the past couple of years and is now felling the effects of her lost business.
“I used to own a bar in the neighborhood and now I do not have it anymore. I had to close it because I could not afford it,” Seels said. “People did not come in as much and I did not make that much money. Because people did not come I could not pay my rent and I had to close. My rent also went up each year that I had the place and that is another reason I could not keep the place open.”
Seels is one of many that are effected. She lost her businees just like many other Americans around the country. Now with the economy looking like it is improving, hopefully she and the rest of Strawberry Mansion and the nation can recover.
